Community Fees

The Mount Vernon on the Potomac Citizens Association (MVOPCA) has an annual assessment for all lot owners. This covers the maintenance of our common grounds, marina and bathhouse facilities, utilities, as well as our wonderful social schedule! Your weekly trash, recycling, and yard waste pickup is also covered by this assessment. The 2026 assessment is $1700 per lot.  

The most unique feature of our neighborhood is its large private marina which includes floating docks, canoe rack storage, and jet ski floating platforms. Fees vary on the size of your craft and associated amenities.  Below are the 2026 fees:

Canoe/Kayak Rack: $60.00 each

Single Jet Ski Trailer:  $250.00 

Jet Ski Floating Dock No Trailer: $275.00

Jet Ski Floating Dock and Trailer: $500.00           

Boat or Trailer Storage:  $700.00

Trailer Storage with boat slip rental: $300.00 

Inside Slips (No Power):  $650.00

Inside Slips (With  Power):  $750.00

Large Boats & End Slips: $800.00
